MY SOUL
Mantra album for yoga & meditation

Why?
And so it happened, I took singing lessons and when the musical came to the Netherlands I auditioned and was accepted for my favorite role of June!
I still look back with love to this period. Singing is like dancing, it comes from within and belongs to me. Through dance and singing I can express how I feel and I would like to share this with you.
The collaboration with Fred Westra went above organic. Often we came together in the studio without preparation and the music and lyrics came from our feelings.
It’s magical to feel this in order to create something beautiful together.

EXPLANATION AND USE OF
THE MANTRAS
This mantra helps you remember who you really are……….LIVE ! Put your hands on your heart sitting or lying down and let yourself be carried away by the sounds. Remember….who are you?…..Remember….you are…..Love.
To Namah Shivaya – 6.46 min
Shiva the destructive. Everything that has ever been created remains for a while and then disappears again. With its destructive power Shiva makes room for new ideas and new aspects in your life. So if you have trouble letting go, sing along repeatedly and trust that the old letting go will help you get a step further in life. Change is scary but one thing is certain in life, everything comes and goes..
This mantra means: “May all beings be happy. May all my thoughts, words and actions
“Every day we can sing this mantra for world peace. Let us unite in this pure intention for peace and happiness of all beings in all worlds.
The mantra in this piece of music is humming. A kind of reverie and giving security to yourself or someone else. Hence the name: The Sweetest Lullaby. Cradle yourself in peace and quiet and find contentment in yourself.
This song came out of my heart in 10 minutes. I wrote the words down naturally because they came from deep down, from my soul. Your soul will help you stay on your path, close to your heart. Your soul will always make you feel freedom. Sing along at the top of your voice and discover what your soul has to tell you!
This is one of the most recited mantras in Buddhism. The literal translation: Om = the universal cosmic energy / Mani = the jewel / Padmé = lotus flower / Hum = refers to the energy of compassion, compassion and unconditional love that stems from it. In other words, by reciting or repeating this mantra you come closer to the happiness that is hidden in each one (the jewel). No matter how deep you are, you can always return to your core and that is love. That is where happiness is. The lotus flower is a symbol of the flower that blooms out of the mud beautifully in its full potency. This also applies to humans.

A mantra is a poem, word, pronunciation or syllable that is midway between a spell with magical effect and a prayer. In some cases it is repeated and is meant as a continuous recitation (chant). According to many it is a combination of the Sanskrit words manasah (spirit) and tra (liberation through control of that spirit).
The mantra is meant to keep the attention away from ourselves and in this way get rid of our thoughts and worries.
